At Fuse Telecom Ltd, we’re all about exceeding expectations, and our recent project at 2 Victoria Avenue, Harrogate, was no exception. With a standard 90-day lead time, we pulled out all the stops to fully connect the building with a 1Gbps leased line in under 70 days!
The challenge? Ensuring Screen Yorkshire, a Leeds-based business renowned for facilitating high-profile feature films, TV productions, and industry training programs, had a live, robust connection ready for their move-in date. Their work spans local and national partnerships, supporting the creative industries in Yorkshire and beyond.
Given the complexity of their operations, Screen Yorkshire required a high-performance internet connection to handle everything from intensive data transfers to smooth delivery of their training programs. With our dedicated 1Gbps leased line, we provided a connection that guarantees reliability, ensuring their business activities run seamlessly without interruptions.
The initial enquiry came in September, with their training course set to begin in mid-January. After a site visit, we tailored a solution to their needs. With pre-installed data ports in the office fit-out, we recommended multiple access points (APs) to establish a guest Wi-Fi network - allowing non-course attendees to access the internet without compromising bandwidth for the training sessions.
The order was placed on 13th November, and with the usual December network shutdowns approaching, we worked tirelessly to ensure full connectivity by 21st January. The result? A seamless, high-speed connection delivered ahead of schedule - just in time for Screen Yorkshire to hit the ground running. What a result! 🎉👏
